Artemia is also called Brine Shrimp ,it is a kind minitype shellfish which distribute widely and bear high sale.Artemia Cysts is dormancy-egg come from Artemia. At present it is recorded that more than 100 series in the world. Artemia is regarded widely as a kind of important bait.Artemia possess strong adaptability to bad environment and better propagate ability . It's dormancy-egg may be conserved longly,and can be hatched it is needed, nauplius after 18-30 hours .possess plentiful yelk , abundant protein and fat ( 60% protein , 20% fat) , its grown-body hold high nourishment,so Artemia is excellent bait of fishes ,shrimps and crabs.It's reported that more than 85% aquiculture creatural seeds are based on Artemia in the world.

 The harvest time is atumu . little harvest in spring .The dormancy cysts is float cysts except in California USA. .It is often piled on the boach by the weave or shows henna .It can be scraped form the bank using a cartain kind of net (above 40 and under 90 ) or use a certain kind of net (above 40 and under 90 ).net up the floating artemia cysts or the suspended artemia cystys . Besides it can also be net up from a hollow or a float bars not to be piled soon after it is gatherd the processing .process is :
1 washing :wash at cone-shaped tin with fresh water first , then with salt water .so as to get ricl of impurity .shell and dirt .
2  Deprioation : to the wet cysts ,first centrifugation , then dry in the shadow to the dry :first must be hantled in lower temperature then vacuum dryed (keep the water rate between 2%-8%).
3  Dry in shadow :in the process of drying in shadow . do not make the temperature too high (not overtake 40 ¡æ )or put it in the sun .
4  Sieving :select :sieve the artemia cysts with different kind of sieves .
5  Packing : vacuum or full-nitrogen packing .

The processing and application of the young artemia :
Young artemia is orange in the early days .It is rich in yolk. It is the suitable living bait that fish and shrimp need during their seedling period . The young can be refrigeratly in low temperature besides using directly after hatching and can be kept in condition of 5-10 ¡æ (should be inflated so as not to suffocate ) for 24 hours or more time ,there are some trouble in applicatior ,Such as the seperation of the young . the a mount of labour in dredging and keeping moreover the young artemia (about 400¡ª500 microm )big for the Flea form of the crab or the young fish . It is difficult to separate the young form it's shell. Fish's or crab's intestines can be blocked up after the shellis is catan by the fish and shrimps and lead the death of the eater and the pollution of the water.
